Today, January 18, marked the start of the Republic Day events, which included the highly anticipated Lalbagh Flower Show. The 217th edition of the event, which is organized by the Department of gardening, features colorful flowered displays over 11 days and runs until January 26.
The event’s theme this year is “Aadikavi Maharshi Valmiki,” and it includes a magnificent model of a Hutta (Valmika) in the middle of Lalbagh’s famous Glass House.
It is anticipated that 8–10 lakh people will attend the event, including tourists, dignitaries, schoolchildren, and international viewers.

Siddaiah Road: Wilson Garden 12th Cross (both sides) to Urvashi Theater Junction.
BTS Road: heading toward the post office from BMTC Junction.
Road Krumbigal: Both sides.
R.V. Teachers College is located at Lalbagh West Gate.
Ashoka Pillar to R.V. Teachers College.
